NSIA regional culinary fare

7月11日和12日，一队新西兰北岸酒店管理学院（NSIA）酒店管理专业学生参加在奥克兰理工大学（AUT）举办的地区烹饪大赛（Regional Culinary Fare）。在指导教师Paul Hill、Elie Briguet和Fabio Olgiati的帮助下，这些同学荣获数枚奖牌。
On July 11th and 12th, a group of NSIA hospitality students participated in the Regional Culinary Fare competition which was held at AUT. With the support of tutors Paul Hill, Elie Briguet and Fabio Olgiati, these students came away with a haul of medals.
新西兰北岸酒店管理学院（NSIA）在经典鸡尾酒项目比赛中获得冠军（该项目比赛第一名），共获得两块金牌和两块银牌（第二、三名也分别由新西兰北岸酒店管理学院获得）。另外一个冠军来自餐桌布置/摆桌项目，由新西兰北岸酒店管理学院（NSIA）学生获得一枚银牌和一枚铜牌。最后，咖啡师项目比赛中新西兰北岸酒店管理学院（NSIA）学生收获一枚银牌和一枚铜牌。
NSIA took out first place (top of category) in the Classic Cocktail category with two gold and two silver medals (which also earned NSIA both second and third place). A first place (top of category) placing was also given in the Table Setting/Crumbing Down category where NSIA students received both a gold and a silver medal. Finally, the Barista category saw NSIA students receive a silver medal and a bronze medal.

Campus Manager Barbara Smith recognises the effort put in by all students and staff involved. “Competition training is not for the faint hearted. It takes up a lot of time and requires commitment, dedication and determination from both trainers and students. These virtues made these top results possible for all of these students. We are extremely proud of their achievements.”
